Workshop Format Requirements
Time and space limits the number of workshops slots available during the conference and as part of pre-conference activities. Workshops should provide a hands-on experience that involves the conference participants in in-depth active learning. Workshop presenters can propose activities in 60, 90, and 150-minute timeframes; (please note: times may be modified to fit available slots.)
To facilitate easier processing, reviewing, and publishing all submissions, PLEASE adhere to the following:
- Use 12-point Times New Roman font in your proposal.
- Adopt single-spacing throughout the document.
- Double space (instead of indent) to designate a new paragraph or section.
- Place page numbers at the bottom center of each page.
- Top, bottom, and side margins should be no less than 7/8 of an inch or 2.2 cm.
- Draft a cover page that includes title, authors, their affiliations, their contact information, and the theme supported by the submission.
- Repeat title, authors and affiliations at head of body of proposal.
- Titles should not exceed ten words.
- Describe your submission in 500 or fewer words.
- List up to three learning outcomes you hope to accomplish.
- On cover page, identify maximum number of participants, list any special equipment or space requirements, and specify preferred time: 60, 90, or 150 minutes.
Deadline for submissions is February 15, 2007.
