This year's McKeachie Award winner is Jim Dever, a doctoral student at the University of Strathclyde.
financial assistance
IUT is committed to assisting participants as much as possible to create a diverse learning community for the annual conference. Toward that end, there is a small allocation of funds set aside to allow for reduced or waived registration fees for those who would not otherwise be able to attend the conference this year in Scotland. The application process for these funds is simply to send to us a short e-mail of no more than 500 words, explaining:
- why you desire to attend this conference
- how information you hope to gain at the conference will be used back at your home institution, and
- whether you are requesting a reduced rate, which will be $400, or a full conference registration waiver.
Please keep in mind that this conference is self-supporting and works on a VERY tight budget. We can allocate 3 reduced registrations at the same cost as one waived registration and our goal is to assist as many potential participants as possible. We apologize in advance that due to the limited funds available, we will not be able to honor all requests, but will do as much as we possibly can. To receive full consideration, please submit your request on or before May 12th.
